Contract | Travel | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the physical and cognitive status of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age-specific needs
Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with patient and family participation, including measurable goals and methods to achieve them
Adheres to documentation policies including initial evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other appropriate notations
Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental and interdepartmental meetings
Assists with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs, as well as Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers
Supports Performance Improvement activities and maintains departmental productivity standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university
Current New Mexico Physical Therapist License required
BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA) required
Must successfully complete pre-employment/post job offer health screening examination

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working with both inpatient and outpatient populations
Familiarity with supervising therapy assistants, rehab technicians, or student programs
Knowledge of community resources and referral networks
