Apartment Maintenance Technician – $28–$30/hr – Weekly Pay

Location: St. Paul, MN
Pay: $28–$30/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time

Career Strategies is actively hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a full-time opportunity in St. Paul, MN . We are seeking a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work and providing excellent service to residents.

The ideal candidate will have experience with apartment maintenance, work orders, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, and general building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests promptly
• Perform apartment turns and make-ready work
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Perform drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Inspect vacant units and ensure apartments are move-in ready
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and property grounds
• Identify and report maintenance and safety concerns
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and property management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

• 1+ year of apartment, multifamily, residential, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repairs
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and carpentry
• Apartment turn and make-ready experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple work orders
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation required
• EPA/HVAC certification is a plus
